Some snaps from my weekend away in the Lake District.
This ended up as a last minute trip from my uncle who texted me on the Friday. To his surprise I said yes to the 5 hour drive and packed the van and set off only to arrive at 12:30am to a room full of drunk people and a beer with my name on it. 👌🏻
We arranged a hike up Helvellyn (3rd highest mountain in England), but after dealing with some illness over the past couple days I couldn’t even make it up 1/4 of the way.
Knowing I’ve already been to the top before, I made the safest decision to go back down.
Not wanting to waste my trip, I researched some local caves and walks to make use of my free weekend.
This was my first solo trip to the Lake District and will definitely not be my last. This only makes me want to finish my van conversion more🔥
