Museum Sessions returns for another sparkling live showcase ✨🎤
In this episode we welcomed Ali Horn to the Lady Lever atrium for a performance of his original track ”Old Friends”.
A regular fixture on the Liverpool music scene, Ali has performed with a number of bands including Strange Collective, Sugarmen and Post Romantics. His latest venture, Any Joy? @anyjoy.song is an international collaboration with Japanese musician Iko Shibayama, with the band’s first album forthcoming!

Museum Sessions returns as we mark the New Lunar Year and Year of the Fire Horse with a very special performance from internationally renowned master of the guzheng Zi Lan Liao at Lady Lever Art Gallery.
Zi Lan is also the creative director of Pagoda Arts, a vibrant cultural hub dedicated to promoting Chinese arts, heritage, and wellbeing. It is also home to the renowned Pagoda Chinese Youth Orchestra (PCYO) - the largest in Europe - which Zi Lan directs.
For this session, Zi Lan performs the piece 'Before and After the Typhoon', which depicts the struggle between a fisherman and a raging typhoon in Shanghai.

Our final Museum Session of 2025 sees left-field pop trio Stealing Sheep perform ‘Dancing in the Rain’ in the atrium of Walker Art Gallery!
The track features on their album GLO (GIRL LIFE ONLINE), which was released earlier this year to critical acclaim 🕺🪩💃
