Stamp works is an ongoing project in which Madachi translates remembered words and environmental sounds into reproducible stamp forms.
Developed during her year-long stay in France in 2025, the project explores the structure of sound - rhythm, spacing, and repetition - through printing.
Haruko Madachi is an artist based between Paris and Tokyo. Born in 1995.
Her practice connects paper, print, sound, and touch.

1冊目のIndie Pop Lessonは高校3年生の時に三軒茶屋にあった @litenbutiken で購入した思い出。夏休みにストックホルムに行くきっかけになったお店だなと思い出したり、皆さんの解説は物語のようで、そこから想像する音楽や生活もたのしいです。ぜひ書店で見てみてください

Je suis rentrée à Tokyo.
Pendent mon année à Paris, j’ai pensé, flâné, joué, travaillé, voyagé, un peu pleuré, trouvé et ri.
J’ai couru, douté, un peu discuté et j’ai souvent été surprise.
J’ai oublié certaines choses, et j’en ai rappelé d’autres.
Je me suis trompée, et je me suis aussi détendue.
Je vais continuer, et repartir encore.
