It’s been over a year since I left home and moved to Kyoto.
When I first arrived I could barely speak any Japanese, I had no job and hardly knew anyone.
It’s been the most challenging and rewarding year of my life so far.
I feel so grateful thinking about all of the incredible people I’ve met and places I’ve been able to see while living here.
My only regret is not having the confidence to move here sooner ⛩️📹
京都に引っ越してから、もう1年以上が経ちました。最初に来たときは、日本語はほとんど話せず、仕事もなく、知り合いもほとんどいませんでした。
これまでで一番大変でありながら、最も充実した1年だったと思います。ここで暮らす中で出会えた素晴らしい人たちや、訪れることができた場所のすべてを思うと、本当に感謝の気持ちでいっぱいです。
唯一の後悔は、もっと早くここに来る勇気を持てなかったことです ⛩️📹
