Happy 50th Birthday to our sister organisation Calvert Trust Lake District over at Bassenthwaite.
Our new CEO, Clive Gray said
"It was a privilege to join in with their 50th Birthday open day and meet Sean their (CEO) and some of the team there. While it was clear that it is a different set up, my experience there revealed it's heart is very much the same; enabling access to country and adventures for those can be marginalised by disability, through wonderful staff and facilities that combine care, dignity and encouragement to welcome people as they are."

“We had an amazing time and loved our stay. The boys have already asked when we can come back!
The lodges are so spacious, and having three bedrooms made such a difference — it meant our eldest, who is autistic, could have his own space and some peace and quiet. And of course, the hot tub was a big hit!
Every member of staff we met was fantastic — so friendly and encouraging during the activities. A special mention to the team member who gently coaxed Gabriel onto the Zip Coaster when he had a last-minute wobble. That moment meant so much.
We will definitely be back soon.”

Jacqui is a vital part of our administration team, keeping everything running smoothly and efficiently with calm expertise and care. She’s also the friendly voice at the end of the phone for so many of our guests – often the very first connection people have with Calvert Kielder.
Her warmth, dedication and commitment have touched countless lives over the years, helping to create those moments that matter for the people we support.
Here she is celebrating with members of the Headway group, who joined us for their annual stay this weekend – a fitting way to mark such a meaningful milestone.
