#leadingwithletters meet Sigma Kappa President Giulia Padoan and learn about her experience as chapter president! “As Chapter President of Sigma Kappa, I have the privilege to serve as the primary liaison between nationals, campus administration, and our lovely chapter members. Whether I’m leading meetings or helping shape our goals, I love being part of the bigger picture of where our chapter is headed. I’m most excited to keep building our sisterhood and see how each member continues to grow. This has truly been one of the most rewarding experiences of my college years.”

#WHYPHAWEDNESDAY Meet Maraly Damian 2nd year Theta, and learn about why she loves Panhellenic! “When I first started college I was so sure I wouldn’t join a sorority but after seeing how much joy and love it brought some of my friends I decided to give it a shot and haven’t looked back since. Ever since I joined Theta I have been surrounded by the most loving, supportive and coolest girls I’ve ever met. Whenever I need a shoulder to cry on or a laugh I know I can count on my sisters. Theta had given me so much from my best friend, my big, and my twin littles, there’s not a day that goes by that I don’t thank my lucky stars for Theta and the immense love it has brought me.”

#SISTERSPOTLIGHT The first day that I met Sydney, I knew immediately that I had found a very special person. Going through the rush process together brought us even closer, and I couldn’t ask for a better sister and best friend to go through life with. No matter what we our next adventure is we will always do it together! With love, Sophie

Today we wear denim. To celebrate this day and raise awareness, we’ve partnered with Sac State Panhellenic, San José State Panhellenic, University of Oregon Panhellenic, Cal Poly Panhellenic, and UCLA Panhellenic💙 Denim Day began in 1999 after the Italian Supreme Court overturned a rape conviction, claiming the survivor must have consented because she was wearing tight jeans. The court argued she would have had to help remove them, implying consent. In response, people around the world wore denim in protest. 👖Denim Day is now a global reminder that there is no excuse for sexual violence. So today, wear your denim with purpose. Start the conversation. Be an ally. Educate others. Support survivors. #panhelleniclove #denimday #aprilissexualassaultawarenessmonth

Hi everyone! Joining a Panhellenic chapter has been one of the highlights of our college years and it all started with recruitment! Recruitment helped us connect with other freshmen going through the same experience and get to know older sorority members. We made genuine connections through recruitment and continue to build new connections with girls inside and outside of our chapters. We cannot wait to help guide you through the process. Recruitment can be difficult at times, but it all works out. Trust the process and come find your home in Cal Poly Panhellenic! #leadingwithletters meet 2nd year Natalie DeRosa the DEI chair for Kappa Kappa Gamma and learn about what she does with her position! “I am the Director of Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion for Kappa Kappa Gamma. In this position, I work to create an inclusive and welcoming environment by planning events, facilitating conversations, and helping educate members on topics related to belonging, wellness, and appreciation. I collaborate with other leaders in my chapter to ensure that DEI is incorporated into all aspects of our sisterhood for all members. I am excited and thankful to have the opportunity to make a meaningful impact on the culture of our chapter. I look forward to creating spaces where members feel comfortable learning, sharing, and growing together within a supportive community!”
