I feel so honored to have worked with Claudia. Seeing her grapple with the rawness of grief so graciously, embrace impermanence and push this body of work to its formal and conceptual limits has been more than inspiring for me. The act of tirelessly using up Peters blue pastels as their decomposed matter, the dust, is captured in its own terms is a meditation on the invisible lines that keep us bound beyond physicality.
Our lungs are permanently blue now. I love you Claud, and I am such a big fan of you and your work. Congrats on your beautiful show.

I hope 𝘊𝘢𝘣𝘪𝘯 can alleviate the triggering sight of the recent LA fires by recontextualizing the flames in a fireplace, where warmth, companionship and memory gently help deal with loss.
