The four years at Cal go by quickly, so appreciate the community around you and the relationships you build along the way. Make the most of all the resources Cal offers, because they can help set you up for success both during and after college. Most importantly, remember that you will get out what you put in, work hard every day for yourself and for your team, and the effort will pay off.”

🐻⚽️ Cal ID Camps are back this summer at UC Berkeley.
Train in the Golden Bear environment with the coaching staff of the California Golden Bears men’s soccer and compete in high-intensity sessions designed to challenge serious college prospects on every level — physical, technical, tactical, and mental.
📍 Location: Witter Field (UC Berkeley)
👦 Ages: 14–19 (Boys)
🕘 Hours: 9:00 AM – 3:30 PM
🍽️ Meals: Lunch not provided
📅 Camp Dates:
• June 6–7, 2026 (Sat–Sun)
• July 10–12, 2026 (Fri–Sun) – Overnight Collegiate Experience Camp
• August 1–2, 2026 (Sat–Sun)

Last season Oakland Genesis teamed up with UC Berkeley’s Cameron Institute to launch Cal Pals with the Men’s and Women’s soccer teams. This spring season the boys and girls middle school teams at Oakland Genesis had the privilege of meeting their Cal Pals and visiting UC Berkeley’s campus.
Cal student athletes had the chance to show Oakland Genesis middle school teams the intensity of their practices and memorial buildings around their campus.
Oakland Genesis middle school teams had the chance to share lunch with their Cal Pals where they learned a little bit about how the life of a student athlete is at UC Berkeley and how they manage their time on and off the field.
