I have been thinking about the term « Full Time » a lot lately, it just makes no sense. What is « full time »? I go from Creative Director, to friend, from Project Manager, to writer, from sister, to planner, from daughter to mother, from wife to boss in the span of a single hour then on repeat to no end. I am full time all of those roles, my 16 hours of everyday awake are a non stop shuffle and my life is the playlist. Time; full, half or in part no longer feels mine -for the most part- for me to sign on in this insane chapter of life. But really, why should anything be full time when I can be everything all the time? #elha2ooonaaai
We usually work quietly and let the work do the talking but I feel rant-y, here is to this absolutely bright; most dedicated, smart, agile and just absolute vibe of a girl. It was a pleasure working side by side with you Salouma, from building, naming and shaping every award all the way to seeing the real impact of our work on creatives who celebrated their wins; agenda free yesterday. 10 months postpartum & I am still amazed - more than ever- by motherhood.
The way my body stretched and grew to accommodate this new life that is now my baby Rawi is very close to how I feel everyday as I watch myself on the verge of losing my shit & then somehow my patience, tolerance and skill stretch out and somehow we push through.
I call it the mom evolution. Moms are truly evolved species.
