We made an audio podcast for
@99percentinvisible about machinima, the art of making movies using video games. They also let me make it into a video podcast which was so so fun and I think really showcases both the power of machinima and what video podcasting could look like.

@whatsfordunch
2: a still from
@grandthefthamlet the brilliant documentary from
@pinnygrylls ,
@samuelrcrane , and
@officialmarkoosterveen that set me on my machinima journey

4: glitches in Grand Theft Auto can sometimes create impossible surreal imagery that feels more like a collaboration between man and machine than simply using the video game as a tool
5: The Rockstar Editor in GTA can be used to great effect to create cinematic images, camera, moves and cute cat content
6: I took a particular interest in games that had you taking on the role of a photographer or filmmaker, like Dead Rising, since I was in effect making a machinima about machinima
7:
@glorifiedmagnified 's This Spartan Life is one of my all time favorite web series and a truly groundbreaking iconoclastic work of machinima that explored in an alternately profound and deeply silly way what it means to be a human in a virtual world
8: machinima is on its way to taking over hollywood. I love the old Rampage games.
9: putting this scene from the ILL Clan's classic Apartment Huntin' machinima into a scene from
@playstack 's The Case of the Golden Idol actually makes a lot of sense in context
10:
@illbixby of the ILL Clan made a lot of great machinima after the golden age was waning, including an episode of CSI: NYC in which they catch a killer inside of
