Mă simt onorat să primesc Premiul UNITER pentru cea mai bună muzică de teatru și sound design. Mulțumesc tuturor celor care au ascultat cu atenție și au apreciat munca noastră sonoră. Investiți în acustica reală a sălilor de spectacol, în echipamente de sunet adecvate, în design sonor și poate cel mai important, în formarea profesionala a echipelor tehnice angajate în instituțiile de teatru și crearea de specializări tehnice în facultățile de teatru. Este nevoie urgentă de spații de lucru sigure, creative, fără bullying, fără comportamente care nu-și mai au locul într-un mediu artistic. Investiți timp sa construim un viitor real în teatru, prin a investi în oameni — nu doar în structură, ci în creativitate. Take the time to truly listen to sound in theatre. And give importance to new sonic forms. Invest in the real acoustics of performance spaces, in proper sound equipment, in sound design — and perhaps most importantly, in the professional training of technical teams working in theatre institutions, as well as in the creation of technical specializations within theatre universities. There is an urgent need for safe, creative workspaces — free of bullying and behaviors that no longer belong in an artistic environment. Let’s take the time to build a real future for theatre by investing in people — not just in structure, but in creativity. The recording features the voices of Victoria Zidaru, Alexandra Moroiu, Monica Lotreanu, Catalina Postolsche, Radu Mihalache, Lucian Harlambie, and fragments with the voice of Sofia Vicoveanca, merging into subtle auditory landscapes that invite the listener into a world of ephemeral sounds and delicate emotions. The composition offers an intimate experience, where each sonic fragment becomes an impression that fades and reappears within the sound space a dialogue between voice, breath, and silence. ReFACEREA presents the work of Victoria Zidaru, whose four-decade-long practice explores ritual and spirituality through natural materials plants, handwoven textiles, scent, and words shaping a fully embodied sensory experience. A first for the Mleiha Archaeological Site in the Emirates: art met nature, history, performance, and audience in a remarkable encounter during @worldstagedesign_sharjah . Artist @calintopa ’s performance, 𝙏𝙧𝙖𝙣𝙨𝙘𝙚𝙣𝙙𝙚𝙣𝙩 𝙍𝙚𝙣𝙖𝙞𝙨𝙨𝙖𝙣𝙘𝙚, brought together a unique collaboration and a free artistic vision, shaped through a complex, creative process alongside the performance and the creatives crew who brought his work to life in the heart of the desert. Over three evenings at World Stage Design, the performance unfolded as a multisensory experience that captivated audiences and redefined the connection between space, sound, and movement. Moments from the process, rehearsals, and the live performance were captured in photographs, reflecting the depth and energy of this artistic journey. SIMULACRA - Lille I collaborated with @laszlozsoltbordos on Simulacra, a new immersive work created at l’hybride in Lille. The visuals react in real time to the spatial sound composition, transforming the space into a 360° audiovisual environment. Spatial sound design powered by Meyer Sound Spacemap Go. Presented at L’Hybride the first permanent immersive video-mapping space in the Hauts-de-France region. Easter in Florence. Saw Rothko at Palazzo Strozzi a place I always return to with joy. After a long lunch and meeting friends, I wandered back to Salvatore Ferragamo, with its museum right in the heart of the city and sketches by Andy Warhol. I always find my way back to Florence, timeless, and quietly inspiring.
