Throwback: "We never Die we Multiply" Ricky Rick. When you live a life worthy, you never really die, your legacy continues and you have ripples of impact across generations is the story and life of a pioneer, creator, all round genius we learnt and were impacted by through the music, art, platform and culture.
This piece was made in commemoration and celebration of his memory and the work he impacted us with. It was unveiled and was part of the set design for the @skeyiandstrobo_fabrikparty 4th edition.

This collaboration was a culmination working alongside the City of Harare, the Netherlands Embassy in Zimbabwe and key city stakeholders to reimagine our shared spaces.
Because when institutions, creatives, and community move together, we don’t just paint walls
we shape the soul of a city.
This is more than art.

Day 1 of Creative Exchange with our Honours students involved an early morning flight and a meet and greet at Mbare Art Space upon arrival in Harare.
We’re currently on day 3 of the trip and the student briefs are nearing production stage. We can’t wait to share what they create over the next few days!
