In just six days, campers will write an original script, make props and costumes, rehearse, and perform their creation live at the Calgary Fringe Festival. Along the way they will build real skills in confidence, cooperation, and collaboration - and make friends that last.

The Calgary Fringe Theatre Festival is currently on the lookout for places for our touring artists to stay. You know how it is - starving artists looking for a friendly place to relax, hang their hat and call home for a few days while performing at our Boutique Fringe Festival.
If you have a spare room, or even space on your floor with an air mattress, and you would jump at the chance to show what wonderful and warm people we Calgarians are, please consider hosting our traveling artists during the Calgary Fringe Theatre Festival. Show them what Western Hospitality is all about!
The 2026 Festival dates are Fri July 31 thru to Sat August 8. Some artists may arrive a few days earlier (Mon July 27). The maximum length of stay would be two weeks (most artists will be leaving Mon Aug 10 at the latest). The artists are responsible for their own food, transportation, and for any phone charges incurred while staying in the home.
As a Calgary Fringe Host, you will receive two Fringe Host Indoor Theatre All Access Passes, good for any Calgary Fringe Indoor Theatre show throughout the nine days of the Festival (subject to seating availability).
