What are you up to today, anything fun? I'm still trying to get my home straight. The builders did work in every room and everywhere feels upside down. My ocd isn't happy.

So, update on the stick insects. I'm down to 4 as 1 died yesterday sadly. Not sure what i did wrong so have emailed the supplier. I'm hoping the rest continue to thrive. They are such cool little beasts. The cats haven't shown any interest which is good. I know they might when the stick insects are bigger.

How are you enjoying your weekend? Have you done much or just chilled out. I've sorted through all my paperwork. I had far too much that needed shredding. Most of my bills are on line so how does paperwork just mount up? Still, it's much more manageable.

So, the surveyor signed off on all the work yesterday. Thank goodness. I've got 1 more appt with the electian on tuesday, who will finish the worst in the kitchen. Then it's all done. I'm so happy.

I've got my surveyor coming today to check the work that has been done. Hopefully she'll sign it off. Then i can get a proper decorator in to finish everywhere. Then my home will be my own again.

I am totally obsessed with the stick insects. 5 have hatched now which is so cool. Having them on your hand is mad because you can't feel a thing, not even a tickle. I would highly recommend getting some eggs and raising them 💚🤍💙💜❤️🩷🧡
This is my gorgeous nan. She was such a huge part of my life. We lived next door and i was always in there watching Patrick Swayze films. She adored him and even had a full length poster of him in her bedroom lol. Road house was here favourite film. She is greatly missed every day. I really wish my boys could have grown up with her the way i did 🧡🩷❤️💜💚💙

This week seems to be flying by. I've had a busy but productive week. Lots of jobs have been done that i haven't been able to do because of the builders. I'm slowly getting everywhere straight, which feels great.
I get to see my mum and aunt today for our thursday giggle and gossip. I love thursdays for this reason.

Good morning, how's your week been so far?
Painting was finished yesterday. Thank god. I can finally see how everywhere will look. I have one more appt left with the electrician to change the fan in my kitchen. Lots of cleaning is needed, which will be satisfying. Then it's all done, finally.
