I’ve spent the last few days trying to wrap my head around this year, and a surprise has been how helpful a chronological review of photos has been. A year has always felt circular to me - I essentially started and ended my year in Australia which only drives that feeling home harder. I am proud, if nothing else, of the innumerable ways those two trips felt different. I am also really and truly thankful for everyone pictured, and so many who aren’t, who have talked to me, helped me, and inspired me. Staying true to yourself until things make sense is beyond what I can do alone. Thanks for being here. Talk to you in 36 months or so.
My first time setting foot in the Ryman. I couldn’t have dreamed of a better group of people to share that with. Every person on this stage has, in their own way, been a light to me this year, and genuinely amaze me as musicians. Last night was a tangible display. Endless thanks for the ever present guidance of @wilsondrums@b.c.taylormusic and of course to Carter for sharing her voice and being exactly who she is. My heart is beyond full.

CMA Fest is a special thing, and I’m still buzzing from it, but more than anything I’m thankful for the artists, musicians, and creatives who have trusted me this weekend and beyond. I’m humbled to be here and share in this with you

There’s been a lot of life, both good and bad, since my last post. I’m very thankful for all of it. That being said, a lot of life can make it hard to appreciate and give proper place to the really important things. I feel that way at least. My small amount of time with this guy (@evansieling ) and my not-so-small amount of time with his music has reminded me to be intentional with what matters the most. It’s been very healing for me, and I hope it is for you too. Thanks Evan. You’re one of the best guys I’ve ever met.
