My brother Andrew is going through a traumatic brain injury, something that happened to him and his family without warning. The recovery is going to be a journey, one with costs. Recently my mother in law Elsa was diagnosed with stage 4 pancreatic cancer. She is such a huge part of our lives and we as a family want to provide her with the best care to extend her time with us.

This is Linda. Shooting a bow. It was a cold winter day, Boxing Day I believe. I was trying desperately to hit my target. Hit some trees. A barn. A random guy. Lol I’m kidding about the last one. Linda took the bow. Slowly stretched it back... closed her left eye, and took a deep breath. The wind stopped. Every insect and animal stopped and watched “who is this woman?” Time stood still. She let the arrow out of her grasp. Everything happened in slow motion. My mouth was wide open in amazement as I followed the path of the arrow. Stranger Things soundtrack playing in my head. PFT. The arrow hit right on target. That is my wife. And today it is her birthday. And everything she does in life is like that bow n’ arrow. @lindacjohnston you are a freaking legend and I love you.
Yesterday’s celebrations flew by and I didn’t get to the Instagram post! I love you @lindacjohnston , you are incredibly talented. Just being able to be your partner in literally everything we do from music to church and everything in between is incredible. Here is to the best year yet and a ton of songs!
