Had the opportunity to document the moment Tyler the Creator pulled up on CAU’s Band a few weeks ago at rehersal as they prepped a show inspired by his music.
Very blessed to be able to capture something so important like future generations of creators being inspired by one of the greatest musicians and artists of our time.

With pressure from his mother and the weight of survival in a city like LA, he’s pushed toward a path that offers stability, even if it means setting aside parts of himself. “WHATEVER IT TAKES” is a film giving you a look into the quiet sacrifices we make when survival becomes priority.
