🇮🇸 Iceland - That’s a wrap! What an incredible experience with @elevenexperience and @gopro at Deplar Farm. We will definitely be back for the views, hospitality and seemingly endless vertical!

2: radical drop zones
3: @tylersams “skiing” (the polls decided by a landslide that this was @elizeywright fault)
4: fun pickups with a rockstar crew
5: probably the lowest elevation top of the world location on the planet
6: one of the coolest fjord drop offs locations of the shoot
7: abandoned lighthouse at the base of the previous photo

Until next time Iceland! Þakka þér fyrir
Scary day on the mtn! We had about 2-3’ of fresh snow and the avalanche risk was a bit higher than the previous days. @zachkrichardson dropped first. He chose a wide steep ridge line. We waited and heard the hoots & hollers confirming our suspicions of bottomless pow. We each picked our ridge lines and dropped without much spacing or delay. As I’m descending you’ll hear Zach call over the radio about an avalanche that he triggered further down the mtn. I had been fading left to be clear from my sluff but not realizing I was putting myself under my friend’s line. When I heard the radio call I cut hard left to a higher spot on the opposing ridge line. This put me in a very precarious spot as you’ll see. Once we worked our way to the bottom we found out that 4 ridges over during this first run of the morning that there was a major slide that ended up being fatal. The entire backside of the mountain was shut down immediately. The second video in this post is the head-cam footage from Zach as he’s triggering the slide that he called out over the radio to us. His slide was a lot larger than what we were seeing on our run. Had we waited for him to finish his run and call back we would have avoided our situation altogether. This experience has given me a new respect for the dangers of avalanches and mountain safety.
A couple valuable lessons re-learned from this day…
1: Take your time on the first powder runs of the day.
2: Drop one at a time and keep an eye on each other.
3: Don’t ski under or above your friends (or anybody). We all know this but it can be hard to judge when you’re excited to get fresh tracks and you are already breaking lessons 1 & 2.
4: Inbounds doesn’t = invincibility. Use YOUR own best judgement.
Dodged a bullet on this… Stay safe out there!
🇮🇩 Indonesia you always amaze me! This is an uncut clip of a single breath. If you look closely you can see scuba divers in the background. I spent about an hour diving with these gentle giants. Our guide told us these Mantas frequently come to this rock to clean. How do they clean you ask? Great question! They hover over this rock thats in shallower water and wait for their little fish friends to nibble the algae and other parasites growing on their skin. I even saw the little fish go into their open mouths and clean inside and exit through the mantas gills! To get here we took a ferry from Bali to the neighboring island of Lembongan. We then set out early in the morning on a smaller boat to the neighboring islands of Chenigan and Nusa Penida to find these guys. Wait until the end to see another manta surprise me! A highlight of our trip to Bali for sure!

An unbelievable Lake Powell weekend with the best squad on the planet! Also, @chrisfarro FINALLY popped the question to @erin_edenholm and she actually said YES! So stoked for you two! Thank you @seadoo and @uplakeadventures for helping out with the radical toys!
We spent a lot of time on the islands this year and had a lot of good friends come to visit. Getting to this lookout is no easy feat. It takes about 7hrs round trip and 40 ropes to get to the top with some very sketchy no fall zones. I’m back in Oregon for the summer but am just now going through all of my photos from our island adventures // #gopro
Enjoying the fall colors in Tahoe on the new Ebikes! They make the hills of Tahoe seem nonexistent. I can’t wait to get these on the Playa in the future! @aventonbikes #Aventon #AventonBikes #AventonEbike #Ebike #Pace500 #MyAventon

We came to Maui back in early March for a quick trip (planned 5 days) and decided to stay out here as things unfolded. Almost 2 months later we are still here. I picked up this SlingWing contraption about a week ago and have been hooked. It took me a couple long and frustrating sessions of struggling to get it figured out. Nevertheless, it has been a super fun learning curve! It’s a @slingshotfoil 4.2m SlingWing and I have it paired with my @liftfoils 170 and my trusty @goon.bunny prone foil board. If you look closely you can see @juliamancuso tearing it up as always! 🇯🇵 It’s was an unreal journey through the land of yuki and ramen! This was definitely some of the deepest and lightest snow I’ve ever had the pleasure of gliding through. Can’t wait to come back for more // #japan #hokkaido #yuki @nisekounited@nisekojapan@gopro@oakley@armadaskis
