Yesterday, I lost not only a grandfather, but also a second father figure who helped raise me. He taught me discipline, commitment, and determination—values he carried with him until his very last days, as he fought his condition with unwavering strength against all odds.
Now, he rests in a better place, endowed with all the good deeds he carried throughout his life. If there’s a word deeper than “thankful,” that’s what I feel for him.
