Natural color update! It’s been just about a year of using only plant based colors for all of my products and I’m more in love with the results everyday. I’ve learned a lot and failed a lot and i wouldn’t change a thing! I’m using mainly @prsmsugarco powders and liquids and man, have they come a long way in a year! Adam has been so in tune to what our needs are and has changed formulas and come out with new products to help our experience with their products be top notch. When there is a glitch or bump in the road, he is the first to help you work through it. Great person, great company and a great product!

But listen, with anything new there is a learning curve and if you’re not willing to work through the bumps then this journey probably isn’t for you and that’s ok! A few things.. do they have an odor? Yes. Does the odor translate to taste? No. Can you get bold colors? Absolutely, take a look at my last years work and see for yourself 😘. Powder or liquid? Both! Liquid is much easier to mix and an easier transition from gels but the powder provides more rich/deep colors. Before Thanksgiving of 2023 I decided I was going to make the switch and eliminate synthetic dyes from my business and by Valentine’s Day, I had officially made that switch! I’m still learning and figuring it out but I’m pretty dang proud of where i’m at! Overall it’s been a lot more easy then I thought but it’s definitely had it’s tough moments!

At some point I plan on forming an ebook of my process once i get it nailed down in case you want to make the switch as well, Trust me, it’s definitely doable, but In the meantime don’t hesitate to reach out with any questions! I’m happy to help! One question I get asked a lot is why I made the switch and the easiest answer is, cause I wanted to 😘 and If I can eliminate unnecessary additives to my product while still maintaining the overall look/quality, then why wouldn’t I?
