The first of the grandbabies is 16. I still don’t believe it. And a sweet 16 deserves a truly over-the-top Cake. So we filled up a whole whimsical garden table for her.

She is exactly what you call a statement Cake, a 12 inch vintage round top with chocolate covered strawberries and doused with glitter. She is my kind of Cake.
This was a raffle cake so the winner literally paid five dollars for this cake. If you’re not tuned into my stories on the weekend, you’re missing out on your chance for the raffles.!! I’m just saying

I always say it, but the abstract florals are really having their moment this year. I wasn’t a fan at first and now I am obsessed with how these cakes are turning out. Do you like the new abstract look or Are you more classic floral girl?

A little snippet of some of my Mother’s Day this year.
I want to wish a happy Mother’s Day to every kind of mother out there. This is one of my busiest holidays and I’m blessed enough to have a family that helps me out with the assistant every year on this holiday. I literally think of my sister’s second mom’s to my assistant. So I know mom’s come in every shape and form. There’s no traditional definition for a mom. So if you’re a mom in any capacity, I hope you take a moment and soak in some peace and love today. You are greatly greatly appreciated.
