Dinner Sketching 🍚🥃
📍Moono, 29 E 32nd St, New York, NY 10016
Dinner at @moono.nyc was so delicious, thank you so much to the team for having me! Highlights were 100% the beef tartare and hoe/ salmon muchim 🍣 I’m such a fan of the crisp fruit paired with the raw salmon and beef, such a cool texture combo! The desserts are also 🤯 I love buckwheat tea, so that ice cream was especially delish to me 🍨
I couldn’t fit everything I had into the video, but my favorites all made it if you’re wondering what you should order 😉
Excited to try out and sketch at new places, let me know where I should go next 🍽️
Thanks to my friend @cathyeon for joining me tonight and shoutout to our awesome waiter Sam 💫

A little more about Social Tees: Started in 1991 as a tee shirt company, Social Tees transitioned into Social Tees Animal Rescue 10 years later in 2001. We are a longstanding member of the Mayor’s Alliance for NYC Animals and a participating shelter under the City of New York’s Animal Care Centers New Hope Program, which places animals in local no-kill shelters. We have partnered with rescue groups in Tennessee, Texas, New Jersey, and many other locations where the euthanasia rates are higher than they are in the northeast, via which we rescue and find forever homes for hundreds of animals annually. We also work closely with many awesome animal loving companies that help us raise awareness about dogs and cats in need.

A weekend at the beach @VisitSanDiego #ad #VisitSD
Since moving to NYC, I’ve realized the city moves faster than I do and most days, I’m just trying not to get left behind. But in San Diego, I feel like I’ve finally caught my breath and actually had a moment to look up for the first time in forever. When the sun greets me every single day and I’m basking in vitamin D, I don’t think anything can get me down!
Even on mornings when I’m not feeling my best, the minute I step outside, the smell of grass and ocean air fills me with so much excitement for the day to come. There’s something incredibly special about a place that has something for everyone: incredible food, pristine beaches, and endless outdoor adventures. It’s not just that everything exists, it’s that I can actually access it without planning my entire week around it. I will never take touching grass every day for granted again!
Reminiscing on when I lived here years ago, I remember the days feeling longer, fuller, and more alive. Coming back for vacation, that feeling comes rushing back instantly, and it fills me with genuine optimism about what’s ahead. I plan to carry that San Diego energy with me back home, not just the memories, but the mindset too. This trip was an incredible reminder that life doesn’t have to feel like a sprint, it was never a race to begin with. If you’re wondering where you might want to vacation next, come to the bright side 🤍🌊
