Palestine trip last August where I got to spend time in the Aida Camp and visit different parts of Palestine along with the Lajee Centre Summer Camp. Also had the opportunity to take the Lajee Celtic boys team for a session in Aida, where the Occupation has ordered the football pitch there to be destroyed this week. Football is a life line for the kids in Aida and this is another example, if we ever needed one, of the lengths the soulless apartheid regime will go to oppress Palestinians. The Israeli regime cannot bear to see young Palestinians having fun and living a life despite doing everything it can to crush their spirits and to deny them the fundamental human right of living with dignity. The resilience of the people I met in Palestine, who resist the occupation every single day, is staggering, and that’s one thing that will never be taken from them 🇵🇸 1-5: Aida Camp, 6+7: Ramallah, 8-11: Lajee Celtic, 12+13: Bethlehem, 14+15: Hebron, 16: Tulkarm
We recently had a visit from renowned strength and conditioning coach @cairbreo . Here is a quick clip of him working with some of the boys from the @lajeeceltic soccer team along with Coach Baha. It was great to have Cairbre’s expertise and coaching at the gym and we look forward to having him back again soon!
