as a part of the experience, the festival wanted its venues to have digital totems for attendees to create their own flag in person. to this end, the application was extended as to allow users to navigate it in the big touch-screen.
moreover, due to the lack of further resources on databases and data persistency, users were made able to download their own flag and share them in social media by scanning a QR-Code, that replicated the building logic on mobile.

as in most of my projects, the generative flag was developed through a series of explorations as I was trying to reach a logic in which the system synthesized our intentions with visual quality.
