Chrome, 7075 Aluminum, Supreme Pair.
New @amrmachines frames.
I don’t usually mess with anything plated, but i tried one out a bit ago (thank you austin) and i was stoked! There’s no shaping or mech on the frame to preserve the chrome, but i did a healthy dose of scribbling all over the armature bar, yoke, binding posts and thumbscrews, as well as mechbossed zinc coil covers. Miniature sterling-silver contact/lock screws and shaped 1943 steel penny thumbscrews.
Liner is a great setup for small to medium groups.
Shader runs faster than my usual fare, close to a hybrid.
5.5/5.6oz‼️ they don’t get much lighter.

Brass MICRO Supreme Pair.
This pair started out as a mistake, but ends up being a super rad little project. I messed up on the brazing-jig spacing when i knocked up the first frame and ended up with 7/8” geometry. I thought “no big deal,” because i’ve done a couple/few projects with 7/8” coils over the years and i’d just have to dig around through the parts bins for a pair of 7/8” cores. I dug around, and i found ONE 7/8” coil. In the 2000’s i did a bunch of them so i figured there’d be at least a couple so i kept digging. All 250 of the ltd edition bronze Zooliners were built with 7/8” coils, so there must be a reject pair i could rewind…Nope…couldn’t find any! Shit. Asked around my machine building pals and had two pair on the way to me before they even answered the quest. That meant i had to make a matching 7/8” shader to go with, and here we are! Thanks to Damon Burns and Tyler Cabrinha!❤️
Classic frame design with the modern-mech treatment. The ‘ole standby $1 eagle/pyramid coil covers bring the money magic. Miniature sterling-silver coin contact/lock screws. Shaped 1943 steel penny thumbscrews. Dark-black iron and patinated-brass, two-tone, finish.

Chrome, 7075 Aluminum, Supreme Liner.
Slick new @amrmachines frame.
I don’t usually mess with anything plated, this one’s a special occasion. There’s no shaping or mech on the frame to preserve the chrome, so i did a healthy dose of scribbling on the armature bar, yoke, binding-posts, as well as mechbossed brass coil covers and hand-sculpted brass contact/lock/thumbscrews.
Great setup for small to medium groups.
