The End of Summer Fest is back for its fifth edition! From 25 to 28 September 2025, we celebrate five years of collective engagement, artistic-activist practices, and community-based organising in and around the Safer Space café révolution.
This year’s edition, titled «Bridging Legacies» explores how we can honour the past, remember together, and build sustainable foundations for the future.
In a time of social exhaustion and structural inequality, we ask: What does it mean to carry a legacy – not as a burden, but as a source of strength and connection? How can we remain resilient as a community and create spaces for healing and exchange?

L’End of Summer Fest revient pour sa cinquième édition ! Du 25 au 28 septembre 2025, nous célébrons cinq ans d’engagement collectif, de pratiques artistiques et activistes, et de mise en réseau communautaire, dans et autour du Safer Space café révolution.
Cette édition, intitulée « Bridging Legacies », s’interroge sur la manière dont nous pouvons honorer le passé, nous en souvenir collectivement et en tirer des bases solides pour construire l’avenir.
Dans un contexte d’épuisement social et d’inégalités structurelles, nous posons la question : Que signifie transmettre un héritage – non comme un fardeau, mais comme une source de force et de lien ? Comment rester résilient·e·s en tant que communauté et créer des espaces de guérison et d’échange ?
« Bridging Legacies » est une fête des passages. Elle nous invite à nous souvenir, à écouter, à rêver et à façonner ce qui est encore devant nous 🌱

• Volksinitiative «Keine 10-Millionen-Schweiz! (Nachhaltigkeitsinitiative)»
• Änderung des Bundesgesetzes über den zivilen Ersatzdienst (Zivildienstgesetz)

Start: 14:30
📍 café révolution (PROGR Atelier 014, Bern)
14:30–15:15 kurze Einführung ins politische System der Schweiz (was ist eine Initiative? wie funktioniert Abstimmen?). Danach gemeinsame Diskussion der Vorlagen.
Offen für alle rassifizierten TINFAS – mit oder ohne Stimmrecht. Kein Vorwissen nötig, kein Pass nötig: Mitreden dürfen alle.

Erotic Readings: Sensuality & Pleasure Explored Through Poetry
The lesbians are taking over…so you know we have to make it hot and sensual
Femmes & Thems & Lavender Events are taking over café révolution for a day that invites softness, depth, and connection. Join us for a lovely Sunday afternoon with brunch, tarot, open decks and good company to settle us in, then we will move into curated poetry readings and discussion exploring desire, pleasure, intimacy, and the erotic, particularly for the lesbian & sapphic. Finishing off with an open floor for those who would like to share their own words. There will be plenty of time to chill, connect, eat, drink, and be merry.
This space is lovingly designed to invite Black queer women and FLINTA of the global majority to be held, heard, and seen.
*This event will be conducted primarily in English.

Im Zentrum steht die Frage, wie unterschiedlich der Zugang zu solchen Angeboten gestaltet ist, welche Faktoren diese Unterschiede beeinflussen und welche Gruppen aus welchen Gründen erreicht werden.

Ein geschützter Saunaabend für TINFA-Personen, die Rassismus erfahren.
Gemeinsam schaffen wir einen Safer Space für Ruhe, Wärme, Körperwahrnehmung und Verbundenheit – fern von diskriminierenden Blicken, Erwartungen und Normen. Alle Körper sind willkommen.
WANN: Mittwoch, 18. März 2026, ab 17:00 Uhr
WO: Treffpunkt ab 17:00 Uhr beim café révolution, Waisenhausplatz 30, 3011 Bern → ab 17:30 Uhr gemeinsame Anreise zur Lorraine Sauna, Bern ODER direktes Treffen vor Ort (18:00 Uhr) ist ebenfalls möglich.
