We headed to Double J’s Cafe in Fitzrovia — a busy little family-run spot serving all day breakfast (plus kebabs and burritos if you’re after something heartier 👀).
We went for:
🍳 The American (£15)
2 pancakes, fried egg, back bacon, Cumberland sausage, hash brown, golden syrup, crème chantilly and mixed fruits
🥞 Nutella Dream (£15.50)
Layers of pancakes with melted Nutella in between, served with mixed fruits, crème chantilly, icing sugar and a drizzle of golden syrup
🍓 Strawberry Sunshine smoothie (£5.50)
Strawberry, banana and mango
🥭 Tropical Crush smoothie (£5.50)
Passion fruit, mango and pineapple
☕️ Cappuccino (£3.50)
Big portions, fresh food, and the kind of brunch that keeps you full for the rest of the day 😅
Such a good spot if you’re looking for all day breakfast in London or an easy brunch date spot worth saving.

@cafedoublejs is a well-established, family-run Mediterranean café offering a welcoming atmosphere and a strong breakfast menu. Even at 11am on a weekday, the café was busy, always a positive indicator. During our visit, we tried the following:
🥛 Merry Berry & Tropical Crush smoothies.
🍳 Turkish Eggs - 2 Free range poached eggs on a bed of spicy beef sausage & garlic yoghurt topped with chilli oil & chilli flakes, served with toast.
🍇 Granola - Greek yoghurt topped with mixed fruits, granola & honey.
🍳 Full English.
🍣 Eggs Royale.
🥞 Nutella Dream - Layers of pancakes with melted Nutella spread in between, served with mixed fruits, crème Chantilly & icing powder.
🍞 French delight - 2 slices of thick cut brioche French Toast, served with mixed fruits, crème Chantilly & icing powder, finished off with a drizzle of golden syrup.
The food was freshly prepared using high-quality ingredients, with particular attention to flavour and presentation. The bacon and sausages stood out for their quality, while the eggs were cooked precisely across each dish. Highlights included the Turkish Eggs which were rich, well-balanced, and full of flavour & the Nutella Dream, which offered an indulgent yet well-executed finish. The smoothies were also refreshing and complemented the meal nicely. Service was attentive and welcoming, big thanks to Mustafa and Andreea for looking after us. A reliable spot in Euston for a well-executed breakfast, and one worth revisiting to explore the lunch menu.

@cafedoublejs is officially the cutest family-owned spot in London ☕️
They serve all-day brunch and after trying it, I’m genuinely obsessed. From the presentation to the flavours everything was just chef’s kiss.
Safe to say this is now my go-to brunch spot whenever my train gets delayed at Euston 😂
