One year ago today, Café Ruma was just an idea.
Today marks one year since I made the very first post for this business, and honestly, I still can’t believe how far it’s come.
We started with 10 followers, and now somehow there are over a thousand of you supporting Café Ruma. That genuinely means more to me than words can explain.
This past year hasn’t been easy at all. There were so many moments where things weren’t working out, where there were no events, no money being made, no real understanding of how to run a business, and honestly moments where I wanted to quit. But I pushed through. I made it work with the help of my family, my friends, and every single person who believed in me even before Café Ruma became what it is today.
This business became so much more than just coffee. It became a community. A space where I’ve met amazing people, built connections with other businesses, clients, customers, and people all across the GTA. Every single booking, repost, comment, like, message, and interaction has helped Café Ruma grow into what it is today.
Truly, from the bottom of my heart, thank you for being part of this journey. Café Ruma would be nothing without all of you.
