Feeling nostalgic? We sure have been when it comes to our beautiful Main Street, which is now officially open to both lanes of traffic!! It’s been a long six months, but Cafe Roka joins the rest of the downtown Bisbee merchants in thanking Bisbee Public Works, Mayor Ken Budge, and all of the contractors who helped make this happen earlier than projected. To our beloved community, We are honored so many of you have reached out today with support, but please allow us to clarify the status of our restaurant. Despite the news you may have seen, we are in fact OPEN. We plan to remain open and continue serving our guests for the foreseeable future. We have absolutely no plans to close this beautiful restaurant we all have enjoyed for the past 32 years. What we have done is taken the first small step towards selling the property and business by creating a property listing. There are no potential buyers at the moment. Our expectation of the selling process is that it will take some time, and we are in no rush. With that said, we are excited to offer extended hours this Memorial Day weekend in honor of our fallen heroes. We will be open Thursday, Friday, Saturday, AND Sunday 5pm-9pm. What a fastastic Mother's Day dinner @cafe.roka Located in the unique mining town of Bisbee in southern Arizona, Cafe Roka's team has managed to bring elevated fine dining to visitors for over 30 years. Our meal started with a Hatch green chili, corn and tomato tart. Followed by their house salad included with all entrees. So simple but so full of flavor They always bring a palate cleanser which consists of a lemon sorbet Our mains were the roasted half duck with a cranberry-honey-merlot sauce and the Lambondigas (lamb meatballs) with garbanzo beans. Their wine list sure pleases all tastes and budget. New seasonal items on our cocktail menu! Today’s feature is the St. Francis developed by our very own Miranda. -House infused pecan rye -pear liqueur -house honey syrup -fresh squeezed lemon juice -garnished with a seared lemon, caramelized pecan, saffron flower The pecan shells add a really fun tannic quality to the rye, giving the cocktail a tea-like mouthfeel. Take it from our host, Jo, “It’s life changing.”
