My debut EP has just dropped, and while i thought i would have some eloquent words to describe this feeling, I realize i’m borderline speechless. So here it is, a love letter from me, available everywhere, about the hopeful melancholy that it is to grow up, and a testament on how flowers can grow anywhere when surrounded with love, and goddamn was i surrounded with so much love.

@aira.araff shot, directed, and edited everything. @asokawotulo made sure the whole day actually happened.
we did this entirely on our own, no big crew, no budget, just us figuring it out together, and honestly that’s exactly the kind of energy this EP deserved to be born into.
the cost of aging has been sitting with me for a long time. it came from a period that’s been genuinely hard to move through, and i’m still in it in a lot of ways. but watching it finally take shape into something real, something you can actually hold and listen to. i don’t have the right words for that yet.
