Today we highlight the Cactus Jack Foundation 6th Annual Winter Wonderland Toy & Food Drive. The Webster family returned to TSU for the second year to serve over 1000 Houston residents on Texas Southern University campus in honor of the Cactus Jack Waymon Webster HBCU Scholarship Program and ongoing commitment to support HBCU students and families.

We're excited to share more about the second winner of our Cactus Jack Design Ethos 101 Competition, 2021 FSF Scholar Chloe Jerolaman (@chlo_jero_design )!
Chloe's submission, titled Second Harmonic, refers to an interaction between two wavelengths where twice the energy is generated when they combine. In her words, "this project explores the question, 'How can we meaningfully involve disabled perspectives in the fashion industry?' My brand seeks to form relationships with people with disabilities to reimagine fashion's approach to clothing design."

Cactus Jack Foundation & Space Center Houston, the Official Visitor Center of NASA Johnson Space Center launch a STEM Education Youth Program to heighten HISD students with design and engineering focused curriculum to prepare for the next generation of creators. The program envisioned by Cactus Jack Foundation is a life long dream for the Webster family, as Houston natives they have always been inspired by NASA. The unprecedented program is hosted at both Space Center Houston & Cact.Us Design Center.

Developed by the Cactus Jack Foundation, this online curriculum is designed to coach students in the art of “design disruption” and equip students with the tools to carve their creative path. Members of the Fashion Scholarship Fund community will receive exclusive access to register for the program and submit a final project for a chance to win $10,000 and to participate in an immersive experience at the Cactus Jack Design Center in Houston, TX. This is an incredibly exciting opportunity to engage with a revolutionary creative curriculum and hone your skills.

Over the weekend, @cactusjackfoundation welcomed @morganwallen to Houston home of @cactusjack multi year partner @astros with some @cactusjack softball jerseys and custom @jumpman23 turfs while he was at home of the @astros in Houston to kick off his tour.
