Sometimes you just gotta rip around in an old car with a good homie, pitch a tent and then chase your other friend around the desert to make sure he’s getting what he needs to complete the mission. Good times in the sand. Max ran that 100k in just over 10 hours, beast mode !
@montenegro_mfg got a fresh coat of paint! When my buddy Hern asked if I can bring some chickens to his new location in Boyle Heights I did not hesitate and said “hell yeah !”. Many of my friends in LA have small independently owned businesses, many of those are part of the cycling community in LA, so adding a bit of my colors and flavors to their joints is always super fulfilling. Homie has been watching me for most of my life. Coming back from raves back in the 90s I always felt a little ashamed under his judgmental stare , but it was also a sign that I was almost home, safe after nights of debauchery. oboist Allan Vogel, cellist Margaret Moores, violinists Julie Gigante and Ralph Morrison painted by the amazing Kent Twitchell.
