🏬 End of an era - The Brescia Furniture building in Cabramatta has been sold for $15M!
If you've been a Cabramatta local for a while now, you'll definitely know the Brescia Furniture building that you see as soon as you go over the Cabramatta rd bridge.
The furniture shop has been in operation since 1961 and held by the Brescia family for over 60 years. Antonio Brescia established the business after migrating from Italy, retailing imported premium Italian furniture.
ℹ️ Sold by Colliers Australia, Harry and Andrew Bui managed the sale of the 3882m² building (1669m² land).
The buyer, Warakirri College - an independent high school for students aged 15-22, providing a flexible adult learning environment for students.
Fairfield Council has a approved a DA, for the site to be converted into a Cabramatta campus for the college.
💬 Harry Bui (Colliers Sydney West director) said that “We were able to secure the right buyer in Warakirri College, whose vision for the site aligns strongly with the future needs of the Cabramatta community. . . the transition from a longstanding retail use to an education facility is a significant and positive outcome for the area".
Harry and Andrew Bui also facilitated the $31M sale of the CBA building on John st Cabramatta, we posted about last September.

🌺 Anzac Day
Today, we remember the courage and sacrifice of the Australian and New Zealand servicemen and women who have served, and those who never returned. From Gallipoli to the present day, their legacy lives on.
- Lest we forget.
💬 “They shall grow not old, as we that are left grow old;
Age shall not weary them, nor the years condemn.
At the going down of the sun and in the morning
We will remember them.”
