Malta-based producer Ça Roule lands on Mega Wavy with Don’t Rush / The Block, a two-track EP rooted in UK garage pressure, warm low-end movement and vocal-led club energy.
Opening track Don’t Rush sets the tone with swung drums, lush vocal chops and a rolling bassline that keeps things light on its feet while still hitting with weight. It leans into the more melodic side of UKG, balancing softness and drive without losing momentum.
On the flip, The Block pushes further into darker territory. Built around wobbling subs, tighter percussion and a more heads-down feel, it brings contrast to the release while staying locked into the same UK-rooted palette.
Together, the two tracks show Ça Roule’s feel for groove and restraint - club-ready cuts that nod to classic UK garage but feel fresh in their pacing and detail.
Following recent label output that continues to explore different corners of bass-driven club music, this EP slots naturally into the evolving world of Mega Wavy: playful, functional and built for the dancefloor.

NEW RELEASE OUT TODAY ON MEGA WAVY!
Malta-based producer Ça Roule makes his debut on Mega Wavy with Don’t Rush, the first single taken from his upcoming two-track EP Don’t Rush / The Block. I’m a big fan of ça roule’s work! Have known him since my uni days back in Newcastle and it’s so great to give my talented friends a platform like this.
Built around swung garage drums, lush vocal textures and a warm, wobbling bassline, Don’t Rush leans into a melodic corner of UK garage while keeping a strong sense of movement underneath. There’s a softness to the vocal phrasing, but the low end keeps it locked firmly for the club.
The track captures a classic UKG sensibility without feeling nostalgic for the sake of it - clean in structure, playful in detail, and designed to sit equally well in warm-up sets or peak-time moments where groove does the heavy lifting.
It marks the first glimpse of Ça Roule’s forthcoming EP for Mega Wavy, with second track The Block arriving alongside the full release on 1st May. ITS A BANGERRR! Link in bio

Hey guys, been a long time since I posted a mix. This mix won’t make you dance. It’s not about technical prowess. I didn’t make it for the peak time. This mix is about emotion. Each and everyone of these tracks makes me feel something, deep, deep down inside. I wouldn’t call myself ‘in touch’ with my emotions. In fact, most of the time I have no idea how I’m feeling, or why. All I know is when I play this music, it comes out, and afterwards, I’m left feeling like I understand myself better.
If I were you, and I wanted to listen to this, I think it would sit well during a trip 🍄 Somewhere beautiful. Somewhere hopeful.
