For the chimps, for science, for feminism, for young people, for the planet.
She had a great influence on my life and I had the privilege to get to know her a bit when I made She Walks With Apes for @cbcdocs about her groundbreaking work and those that are following in her footsteps, like @juliabadescu .
I have never met someone so kind, gentle, and brilliant. Jane said her next great adventure would be dying, and I’m sure she’s already making incredible discoveries on another plane in her gentle, inquisitive way.
