3.14.26 The day we were able to celebrate our love, with God at the center, with our people. Thank you to everyone who has loved us, prayed for us, supported us, and been a part of our journey to this point in the smallest and largest ways. Beyond thrilled and excited to start our new life as the Sosna’s.

Tetelestai = Greek for “It is finished” Jesus’ last words on the cross. 2 year ago, at a Good Friday service, I fully gave my life to Christ I always thought I was relatively strong in my faith. But when life got really hard in 2022, David rededicated his life to Christ. With encouragement from incredible friends, I decided to go on my own journey. I started reading with a close friend. We changed our lifestyle. I battled those changes. I was uncomfortable, and at times resistant, I felt that my faith maybe was “good enough.” But what I didn’t know was that God was refining my soul. Through his word, slowly but surely making our way to church on Sundays, and love and prayer from other believers, I started to know who Jesus actually was. I grew closer to him. I really began to truly love him and be in relationship with him. I became more obedient, not because I had to, but out of love and trust. I started to feel the fruit of following him- love, peace, and steadfast joy beyond comprehension. After 2 years of learning, growing, I heard very clearly what Jesus did for me, for all of us. He died the most gruesome death. He was the perfect Passover lamb, his blood is a sacrifice for our brokenness. So that we can be cleansed and in unity with our creator. Who loves us so abundantly. It was then that I handed my life fully over to him. Life from that point on looked abundantly different. The Holy Spirit began guiding my life in ways I was learning to comprehend. And although life didn’t suddenly become “easier,” the peace and joy, and steadfast reliance and guidance was undeniable. God has continued to bless us. Our marriage is a direct testimony of his grace. He saved us both and brought us home, and along the way, used some of the most incredible people I’ve ever met. Thank you Jesus for your love, your mercy, and your grace. Thank you for this day.
