@c_a_munn , our incredible Script Supervisor!
C. A. Munn is a New Orleans-based writer, filmmaker, and theater-maker. They are a co-founder of the “Let’s Make a Scene!” film collective and have written and directed several short films, and are currently developing a feature script with Filmshop NOLA. They received their M.F.A. in playwriting from the University of New Orleans’ Creative Writing Workshop in 2022. Their plays have been produced and read at numerous theater festivals, reading series, and theater conferences in the Gulf South and Midwest. For their poetry and fiction, Munn has won or placed in multiple contests including the American Short Fiction Halifax Ranch Prize, and is a Pushcart nominee. Their writing can be found on the Ploughshares Blog and in Screen Door Review, Peauxdunque Review, and numerous other journals and anthologies.
Most people never notice the work of a script supervisor, and that’s when you know they’ve done a great job. Their work may not be the loudest but it’s no less vital. Because scripties are the hawk eyes on set that spot even the littlest details that can ruin your movie. From catching continuity errors to making sure we never crossed the 180, C. A.’s contribution to #Waikikifilm has been absolutely immeasurable.
