For Preston Folkestad of Des Moines, Iowa, the ’73 Chevy C-10 spread across these pages has been a lifelong family member. The Chevy was purchased new by Preston’s great-grandfather, Maurice “Buck” Heckart, in 1973 and used on the Heckart farm in rural Iowa. Otherwise known as, GEN-X. Is being built by @pacificmusclecarskelowna and will be nothing short of badass. The c10 will have a lower center of gravity with a @qa1motorsports suspension, bringing ride height 8” lower than factory. @wilwooddiscbrakes and 19x9 and 19x11 @raceline_customs Outbreak rims give GEN-X a modern yet classic look and ton of dish in the rear with a 335 tire. Pushing those Racelines and giving this truck its heartbeat is a supercharged LT4 hugged by a @vannattafab engine bay kit. GEN-X also features plenty of other metal fabrication with door locks, vent windows, front signals and badging shaved as well as a custom modified and cleaned up drip rail to separate the @houseofkolor_ Galaxy Grey and Bright Silver two tone paint job. Accenting the paint are shaved, cut and tucked custom bumpers front/rear and polished trim with the addition of a black and red pinstripe through the side portions. Make sure to keep up with the guys at @pacificmusclecarskelowna while they bring this rendering to reality by giving them a follow!
