My new favourite outfit. @tillybuttons Noa made in the new Laser bow denim from Fabric Godmother. Noa has easy to follow instructions and only change was I shortened mine as it looked a bit frumpy longer. The denim is great it changes colour to the dark denim in the picture just use a colour catcher for the 1st few washes. Rainbow stripe of dreams 😍 This is the beautiful Lionel European Tumbled Linen from #fabricgodmother. It's so stunning it took me a while to work out what to make in it, but because it's all about the colours of the stripes I went for a maxi skirt. I used #maveskirt #truebias with no tiers.
This fabric is 😍 it's from @fabricgodmother fabricgodmother new collection #vintageflorals. The fabric is called Celia Denim in Pink. It's the easiest denim to sew with great weight 9oz and will work with so many patterns. I have used the well-known Ace Animal denim and now this one. I decided on the #truebiasquinn waistcoat in the cropped version and for the trousers #annaallenpatterns #persephonepants with the zip fly. I love co-ords at the moment and find I get more use out of them. This has to be my favourite outfit at the moment. ,
When the Ace Animal Viscose & Linen was delivered @fabricgodmother I knew I wanted some and changed my sewing plans immediately to make another #zamoraskirt #madswickstudio. I took out the pintucks from the top tier. This skirt is perfect for the summer and will also be great for winter with boots as we all know Linen is not just a summer fabric!
When I saw this fabric @fabricgodmother I feel in 😍. It's called Sardina in their amazing Viscose & Linen fabric. It's a great weight for all types of dressmaking. I decided a dress would not get as much wear so went for an @annaallenclothing co-ord set. The top is a hacked #antheablouse and the shorts are #pomonashorts. As soon as I saw this cotton seersucker stripe from #fabricgodmother, I knew I wanted to make a shirt in it. I have seen lots of the #papertheorypatterns #olyashirt in stripes and love the stripe placement of the pattern pieces. The sleeve and front yoke are all 1 piece, and I enjoyed the slow sewing of this make. Very clever pattern and the instructions along with the blog sewalong made this sew an enjoyable one. #memademay #memademay2025
Forgot to post yesterday. I tried a photo in my mirror too much phone, not enough of the top, I love the top! When I saw @alexandria_arnold top in Fabric Godmothers new Palm Broderie, I knew I needed the same top it's a hacked #annaallenpatterns #antheablouse. Introducing the new Fabric Godmother pattern the Calla Trousers. I wear mine all the time, super comfortable but smart enough for work, and you can personalise them with different colour side stripes or coloured tape or piping. As you can see, I threw everything at mine the colour, tape, piping, and zips on the pockets! The instructions and the blog post make sewing with stretch fabric a breeze. I used my basic Janome sewing machine even for the button holes. The fabric I used is called Luxury Ponte Roma in Emerald. Now which colour to make next? #fgcalla
Love love love these beyond nine inspired trousers. Very happy with the stripe pattern matching it was worth the time spent cutting out. Fabric is a wonderful European Tumbled Linen from @fabricgodmother called Lionel in moss & navy. Pattern is the #bisquetrousers from @vivianshaochen . Perfect trousers for the weather this weekend. Teenager wanted in on the photoshoot the whole garden and he walks in front of camera 🤣
