Nine years ago I helped book Foodman’s first show in the US. We have stayed in touch ever since, sharing music, photos of our cats, updates on our lives. It was great to see him again, and to help him share his art once again in Portland :)

I was very blessed to do mastering work on @marigoldsun_ ‘s new album for @hushhushrecords . It combines piano, strings and synthesizer into something quite lovely, and the new single “Worlds Apart” just came out! Available on streaming now, with the full album to release on 20 September.
@patriciawolf_music and I are going to beat the heat with a daytime DJ thing at Passenger Seat Records. It’s an amazing record store in town with a Klipsch sound system driven with tube amps 😤😈. They have great records and A/C, we have great tracks, stop by, maybe buy a thing or two :)

Special reissue of this private press cassette from Marienne Kreitlow. Originally released in 1987 while she studied massage therapy, “Heartroom” broke from her singer-songwriter style and combines piano, digital synthesis, and folk instruments from harp to flute to zither. In the same vein of Beverly Glenn-Copeland, ECM, and the best Windham Hill releases.
