【Multi Pattern Design in One】 “Multi Pattern Design in One” is a combination of technology and textiles, through advanced design techniques allowing a single piece to serve multiple aesthetic patterns. By integrating adaptable designs, the project significantly reduces the need for multiple garments, lowering fabric consumption and production resources.

“Looking Through My Window” is a pair of glasses that is inspired by Taiwan’s unique window gratings designs. It was once a ubiquitous sight that you can find starting in 1950’s, which homeowners began installing stylized metal barriers in front of their windows to keep out thieves. Today this folk art form is kept alive with creative.

“Monuments of the Liminal” • A ceramic sphere, delicately crafted, sits on top of a metal frame, a kind of “anti-monument”, built in honour of the power of the hidden wonders in nature. The sculpture, upon touch, opens up a sonic portal - the sound of rippling water, howling winds and distorted field recordings emanate - creating an immersive experience that challenges the collective consciousness to return to a place of presence and reflection. “Monuments of the Liminal” is a poetic commentary on the psychological barrier of cognitive disassociation that arises from the anxiety surrounding the fear of climate change. The warm red glow that fills the room accentuates the contrast between the urgency for change and apathy for action. The wires cascading down from the sphere symbolise a mass of roots, a rhizomatic retracing of our psychogeographies through the reflection of an endangered and critical time.  Through this interactive experience, we hope to restore faith in the power of collective by highlighting the beauty of returning to ancient, innate ways of living in harmony with all beings. By tapping into the subconscious through sound, light and touch, this sculpture invites us to question how our inactions impact our environment and offer a space of reconnection, remembrance, and redefinition.  Team/ @_marilynjoseph @stephinitely.tengy @je.yeun Photo/ @stephinitely.tengy

“Monuments of the Liminal” • I watch my flailing arms in troubled waters: an ominous art house horror, a film still in flickering corners, framing miracles in the sky. Bubbles of wonder strike again, as my weight shifts and lifts me to a window to another end. In one blinking blip of madness - my body leaves its shell shaped sadness - as it ripens for disruption and waits patiently to be enchanted. The moon is floating in the same stone cold water, watching me too. Let us be quiet together, until the tides of relief turn danger into chance. As if we were on the brink of extinction, and this was our last dance. Poem/ @stephinitely.tengy Team/ @_marilynjoseph @stephinitely.tengy @je.yeun Photo/ @stephinitely.tengy
