Portugal felt like home — not because of the scenery, incredible btw, but because of the people. So warm, so welcoming. Tight-knit communities overflowing with kindness, music, and joy. Reminded me so much of Filipinos ❤️

I loved France. It goes without saying it dazzled me with its art, cuisine, and rich history, but what left the biggest impression were the people, young and old, fired up and protesting, fighting for their country’s future. I hope more of us in the US find that same spirit this year.
