Getting the opportunity to help relocate family was a true privilege! Not only did this mean an extra level of care was taken in ensuring this home-buying process went as smoothly as possible, but it also meant my hubby @siskomi and I could be trusted to get started on some pretty major home improvement projects between closing and moving day (along with some cleaning and major leaf-blowing) while these two traveled cross-country with a car full of four dogs, one cat, and many many many houseplants 🪴

🛠️Michael and I demo’d a closet and ripped up carpets the day after closing—what an unusual housewarming gift for the new homeowners to walk into 🤭
Once they arrived, we were happy to help with the installation of new flooring right away, amongst several other projects in the pipeline.

time for my semi-annual post. my brother got married!! i’m the eldest and now officially the last to get married. we also moved back to my home state (??) of WI, bought a house, immediately got in over our heads with DIY house projects that are ongoing, just survived our first snow storm.. it’s gonna be a long winter of learning how to drive in the snow 😅 but before that we did some fun nature things in/around seattle!! halloween happened somewhere in there too!
