This just arrived on my front porch! I'm excited to build something with the new @arduino.cc Uno Q. Keep an eye on @digikey social media for a build video. But first I need to find a powered USB C hub!

I finally did it. I made my 3D printed part cry! Not sure what I said that was so upsetting... I was hoping that I could print a manifold to distribute 10psi of water, but even at 100% infill of PETG, the water found a way to squeeze out.

I knew I would put my engineering degree to good use! I used some sweet "revengineering" to hack the classic NES game #DuckHunt and finally get some payback on my friend Will. 😤🦆 After posting the full video (link in bio), a bunch of people asked: “Why not just point the zapper at a light bulb to cheat?” Turns out, the engineers at @nintendoamerica were way ahead of you. They built a clever system that actually prevents that kind of cheating, and I made this reel to explain how it works. 👉 Check it out and let me know if you’ve ever tried to outsmart the zapper. Thanks to @digikey for making this project possible! #engineering #NES #hacking #nostalgia #80s #revengineering

Last year my friend Will and I played a friendly game of boxing robots, and he destroyed me. Ever since then I've had a little revenge in my heart, so I've been doing a little plotting and I've come up with a plan. I'm going to invite Will over to play some Nintendo Duck Hunt, but I'm not leaving it up to chance. I have a way that guarantees I win the game every single time. Get ready for some revengineering! Thank you @digikey for providing parts for this build. Give them a follow to see how they can help you prank your friends...umm. I mean build something totally practical and doesn't embarrass anyone... 😐

Here are some pictures from me building the mystery project my channel members designed and challenged me to build. At first I had a lot of ideas from brainstorming, but they were way off from what the community had designed. After a little help I was heading in the right direction. Then I had some inspiration that took me in a totally different direction! Watch the full episode on that other platform I'm not allowed to talk about here. Thanks @digikey for supplying all the parts for this project. Go give them a follow for more content from me, and other amazing creators!

My Patreon members challenged me to build a mystery project for my 100th video. They sent me a box of parts with no instructions. After a few wrong guesses and failed attempts I finally started to see what it was I was supposed to build. Could you figure it out with this box of @digikey parts?

What is a community designed mystery project look like? That's what I find out in this new series that premieres on June 20th. I wanted to do something different for my 100th project milestone, and it didn't take long before I started asking myself questions like, "what have I gotten myself into?" Thanks to @digikey for making this series possible. All the parts I used came from their incredible selection. Give them a follow and see how they can help you out on your next project.

Some lessons are so painful you only need to learn them once. That was the case when I tried to use a mechanical rotary switch to read the position of my kids growth chart. I wasted a week of frustration when I should have used an optical encoder from the beginning. Thanks to @digikey for making this project possible.

You know how some people will use a pencil and mark their kids' heights' on a wall or door frame? Well I decided to put my own spin on this idea. I built an automatic digital growth chart to track my kids' heights. It also has several bells and whistles that the kids loved! Thanks to @digikey for making this video possible. Give them a follow to see how they can help you out on your next project!
