A LITTLE ABOUT ME! (& a photodump of @ruthie.molitor ’s amazing work) • I am @summerdelashaw & am based in Waco, TX • I am married to my best friend @colby_delashaw • Our fav memories in the beginning were spent on the field playing football/cheering for Baylor & now our fav is going on the boat with our lab (I pinch myself often) • My faith is the most important thing to me—I love thinking about God being an artist and often pray for eyes to see things like He does • I studied Studio Art at Baylor, graduated in ‘23 & LOVED IT • I took as many photo classes I could at Baylor, fell in love with this idea of capturing moments in time that bring you right back to your memories & capturing beautiful details that we often miss • TX landscapes, horses, anything western, beaches, sailboats, Ralph Lauren, pin stripes, fashion, sunsets & the color green are my muse • ^^ when people ask where my inspiration comes from, it’s all these things in one—my family of outdoorsmen (I grew up with a love & admiration for the outdoors), my grandmother who is a horse trainer (grew up running around the barn & from a young age fell in love with horses), a few summers visiting MA where I found deep inspiration in the colors, scenery, pin striped everything, allllll the vibes there. • I am a lover of the little things/details—whether it’s the way a horse’s mane is flipped over from the wind, the sun sparkling on water, the wrinkles on hands that tell a story of hard work & grit—all of these things play into how I see the world and inspires my work • I always knew I wanted to do my own thing & pursue art, truly BSD was years in the making. I get asked often when I started doing art—when I was little! My parents saw something in me & pursued it in me—forever thankful for that • All of these things together is @bysummerdelashaw — Original Fine Art & Photography, two avenues with the same heart and mind behind it. It is a privilege to get to steward the gift of creativity, using my hands, eyes, heart & a few materials in the process. I am often humbled by the way the Lord orchestrates it all right in front of my eyes! & THANK YOU FOR BEING A PART! (You are the best part!) Xx, SD

The first little bit of SILOBRATION! 🕺🕺🕺 (& some snaps from prepping it all for my memories) Sooooo happy to be back at the silos connecting with all of you, hearing your stories & selling you some art!!!!!!! getting to capture moments alongside @bysummerdelashaw is a gift I will never take for granted!! Summer & I used to dream about what our jobs would look like after college, and the fact that our creative businesses have overlapped in this way is something I thank God for all the time. truly better than I could have imagined !!! I have learned so much in starting KRC, and one of my biggest takeaways is this: CREATIVES NEED CREATIVES! I am so thankful that some of my best friends are in the same field as me, and honestly, we need each other! my work is better because of fellow creatives who push me, encourage me, and inspire me. Thank you Summer for being the best cheerleader and friend over the past 7 years! 🥹🥹🥹
