#ThePennyPullover is a vintage inspired raglan sweatshirt sewing pattern. It is unisex and ranges from 29”-61” bust. The pattern includes a copy shop and print at home PDFs. While the pattern includes written instructions, I have also posted a YouTube video walking through construction!
I’m so excited to have this out!! For those of you wondering, penny is my cat pictured above. The pattern is named after her!

This pattern has really been a long time coming, as I’m sure you know if you’ve been following along. I’ve had serious moments of imposter syndrome and feelings of inadequacy. Getting through those moments were tough, but it really came down to not rushing the process, and literally nobody was rushing me but me 😂
I don’t say all this to guilt you into getting the pattern, but to let you know that if you’ve had those feelings, it’s ok, me too 🤍 thank you to everyone who has supported me and encouraged me along the way!

ok so i made my dress for my best friend’s wedding but that’s honestly not the focus of this post. I will post again with deets but tldr this is the #rosecafebustier with a gathered skirt made from orange silk 🍊
It was such an incredible honor to be able to celebrate two of my fave people getting married. @mercedesbleth & @alexxtorrey , being around such a loving group of people was a testament to who y’all are as people and I am so happy to have made such lovely memories with you and your loved ones 🥰

With two construction views, the Steph Time side tie top is an intermediate sewing pattern for a cropped and reversible top with a high neckline and side ties. This top is so versatile and can be worn layered or on its own. I love my tank versions just as much as a I love my quilted versions, so I had to include both in this pattern!
In this pattern we will be tackling the burrito method, bias binding, making skinny straps, as well as some familiar or new-to-you fun techniques. This pattern is also great for stash busting for all sizes, especially if you decide to make your own quilted piece. Sew along videos coming soon! 🧡

Pants are modified #helenejeans (@annaallenclothing ) & this #fridayslipover (@petiteknit ) was knit with yarn from Hobbii who I will not be working with in the future because of their proclamation of love for ai (👎🏻 bold take for a craft supply company.) sorry that was weird to just bring up, but I have worked with them in the past, have many many things using their yarn, (and have loads of yarn to get through), but I can’t stand by them atp. 🙅🏻♀️

i gotta say, my proudest makes of late I grew and picked for you in the later slides 💐
Today I’m wearing a modified gilbert top made from heavy weight double gauze (I finally added buttons! These three were buried in my button stash and were just perfect) paired with some banana republic jeans I’ve worn for two years straight, dyed back to blue and now need to patch because my phone made a hole in the back pocket from bending down to look at my plants too much.
I gotta say, my relationship with sewing has been weird the past couple of years. Monetizing and constantly analyzing my creative practice kinda sucked the joy out of it. (Booooo burnout sucks)
I intend to use this month to take a look at my me made wardrobe and see what wants to stay, what wants to go,and what new projects will be on the cutting table next.
That being said, I’ve actively been trying to create more from a place of inspiration and excitement, and to pull on the thread of interest, just as I’ve done with sewing, and gardening has really been that outpouring of curiosity and passion for me. I hope you don’t mind me sharing a bit of that over here too. 🌼

it’s pretty nice to knit myself some fun winter accessories, I usually go for larger makes so not only was it nice to have some quick knits, but they get more wear than say, a sweater! not to mention these are legitimately very warm. the cats are also loving them hehe

finished another pair of socks, this time as an anniversary present! they turned out very squishy and the colors are just superb! nothing beats knitting by the fire 🔥
I used the comfort socks pattern from the ozetta sock pack and knit with the silly socks self-striping yarn from @hobbii_yarn in the color Diablo. I knit these holding the yarn double, so lining up the striping bits to match was a bit time consuming, and I did run out of yarn halfway through 😛 so if you wanna hold it double, order two skeins lol
Did these take me almost a year? Did they put my hands out of commission because I was trying to knit them in record time? Did they make me fall in love with DPNs? All yes 🙂↕️
