Avant d’être une icône de l’art, Vincent van Gogh a été incompris, moqué, rejeté. Sa peinture débordait les cadres de son époque. L’exposition SUSPECTS — Van Gogh, Tricksters & Co. s’inscrit dans le prolongement de l’esprit anticonformiste de Van Gogh. Elle convoque 33 artistes modernes et contemporains qui, à leur tour, tracent leurs propres chemins de dissidence. À travers près de 120 œuvres empreintes d’ironie, de provocation et d’absurde, l’exposition déplace le regard, bouscule les certitudes et fait exploser les conventions. 🔥 À partir du vendredi 22 mai Commissariat : Jean de Loisy et Margaux Bonopera. Part II, 2012 and then the puppet cant anymore. The living starts to overtake where snot and drool take over the action and sets the intensity.

Snippets of performances articulated with video I edit my videos, my performances, my personal video archive contineously and simulataneously. My work combines in precarious performances different flows that intertwine various situations that slide from laughter to deep sorrow. Self-sabotage can be an element that has travelled through inner discussions that has mislead the purpose into utter confusion. Always on limits where self control could skid but where somehow an artisitc light catches up and keeps it going. There is always this touch of something that could fade, clapse, spring, blossom at once. Performance kind of gave me a potential grid, a spectre on how to deal with limitst (or not) on mastery (or not). I am happy that Art exists. Thanks to @anneleonieauer that helped me reset my portfolio - it was getting awfully cluttered.

Artist Collective Member: Anna Byskov @byskovanna Anna Byskov, geboren 1984 in Quito (Ecuador), ist eine englisch-dänische Künstlerin, die in Genf aufgewachsen ist. Nach ihrem Abschluss an der Villa Arson in Nizza im Jahr 2008 arbeitet sie in Mulhouse und Paris. Sie hat ein Atelier in der Fondation des Artistes in Nogent-sur-Marne sowie in Motoco in Mulhouse. Anna Byskov arbeitet mit Performance, wobei der Körper und Geist sich zwischen dem Burlesken und dem Wahnsinn bewegen. Die Künstlerin verkörpert Figuren, deren Grenzen verschwimmen, vermischt Fiktion und persönliche Erzählungen und entführt uns an die Grenzen des Absurden und Unpassenden. Diplômée de la Villa Arson à Nice en 2008, elle travaille à Mulhouse et à Paris où elle bénéficie d’un atelier à la Fondation des Artistes à Nogent-sur-Marne ainsi qu’à Motoco à Mulhouse. Anna Byskov pratique la performance où son corps et son esprit sont engagés vers la voie du burlesque et de la folie, l’artiste incarne des personnages à la frontière trouble, mêlant fiction et récit personnel, nous emmenant jusqu’aux confins de l’absurde, de l’incongruité.
