I had the privelage of joining @luke_oppenheimer as he completed his last trip for his first art gallery exhibition in New York at @pictonewyork last month. This short film, supported by @swarovskioptik_outdoor is an insight into Luke’s ethos, mindset and the people of Ottuk. A full 4k version can be watched via the link in bio.

Happy World Pangolin Day! These unique creatures are among the most trafficked mammals in the world, and it’s our responsibility to protect them! Today, we celebrate and recognize the pangolins and their vital role in our ecosystems! In addition, it is important to give credit to the dedicated folks that are looking after them! We recently had the privilege and honor to join the Pangolin Conservation and Rehabilitation Foundation (Pangolin CRF), who are dedicated to safeguarding pangolins from illegal trade and ensuring their rehabilitation. Their efforts are crucial in preserving these cherished animals for future generations! This short video takes a peek at what you can expect in an upcoming HTC episode that I am really excited about!! Please take a look at this pangolin in rehabilitation #HardTruthsofConservation #pangolin #HTC #wildlifeconservaion #HardTruths 🎥: byronjpace

Meaningful conservation has to be the pursuit of species range expansion. That’s what the team at @mount_etjo_safari_lodge achieved when they moved an over population of elephants from their reserve to a new location in Angola. 📷 35mm moments between filming. Film link in bio.

Special moments from Namibia with @mount_etjo_rhino_trust . This little orphan is under going a multi year rewilding process after being found when his mother was poached. At current poaching rates, almost no rhino will be left in the wild in the next ten years.

It takes a team to make a film. So excited to see Paid In Blood on the big screen at @themoplayhouse on Monday. Beyond the characters in the film there were some key people who helped me make this happen. @andychastney gave me encouragement and advise from before I even pressed record for the first time, to the final render of the film. I can’t thank him enough. @pinto_color understood that indie docs often have zero budget, and worked with what I had to colour the film you see now. Thanks for your patience and eye for what looks right. @david.zuccarelli and I have worked on a lot of projects together, and as always he elevated this to a level I couldn’t take it by myself @cleod9music with an expert ear and willingness to work on tiny budgets and get a sound mix ready for global release. Thanks for your patience and the many revisions. @luke_oppenheimer John Shields and @alexoelofse @annette_oelofse helped substantially to fund post production, without which I couldn’t have completed this film. To the tens of other people who donated to post production - sincerely thank you. @teobeaume delivered an amazing opening and closing score - I appreciate your desire to work on this project and how your vision elevated the film.
