#ncmc2025 2/3 amazing main race day full of energy!! 40ish racers going peanuts on a hot sunny day. So many things to say, which would be nice to share with images. Sure! Like the cool view we had from the HQ to the court going in two levels. Or the tight turns on the roundabout. The racers pushing a little bit more, using every single minute efficiently. Let’s see. We did the classic locks. I’m happy someone took a picture and posted it. Think the only dedicated moment for documentation was when the Jallu appeared. Thing is, as soon as you stop, you charge your electronics before yourself. But the kindness sits in small things - like the midnight falafel, which you forget to finish and will find in the pocket next day. IDK it’s better to take pics of things we need like batteries. Even if, we still bought the wrong size. We did have a party tonight. Just didn’t make it in time, but it seemed awesome 🖤
I love the freedom. I long for the lakes. I am concerned about my next place to sleep. I feel exposed. I am afraid. It’s a pity that the emotions from the morning to the night follows as above, when sleeping alone in a tent in the woods. And it’s not the wildlife I’m worried about. The second dangerous creature in Finnish wilderness is a tick.
