Lowkey, my favourite ways to add interest to literally anything.
It’s the idea that involves placing two or more contrasting elements together to create a new meaning or idea.
To me, it is an insanely powerful tool for creative expression.
Honestly it can be used in a variety of ways, such as combining different colors, textures, shapes, or ideas to create something unexpected and thought-provoking.
Ex: Like you see in the cover image, my brand is editorial but also very street driven. Two polar opposite aesthetics but catches the eye and is the perfect blend of who I am.
So what I’m getting at is to use the power of juxtaposition to experiment with different combinations and contrasts, it helps you push the boundaries of your creative work and generate new ideas and perspectives.

How do you want to be perceived? What main character energy do you want to embody?
— I always start with defining your style descriptors so that when you go to recreate the looks its actually an embodiment of the feeling.
Think of them as your North Stars that guide your overall brand vibe and personality.
PS- these arent persona descriptors, they are the most raw and real way you want to express yourself.

In a styling consultation session this week, we had some great conversations about how your style should be an effortless extension of your personality and values and really how that becomes the foundation of your brand building.

These keywords are energetic tingles you must feel in every outfit you wear that makes you feel like the most confident
true version of you.
🔓Think of this as your custom combination code and all four of them together unlock your inner style.
It isn't about fashion, trends, and influencers.
It's about finding your style language that visually communicates who you are and what you’re about.
And then those keywords now become the foundation to your closet and your brand for a cohesive and authentic experience.
